Sources and collection points

Information comes from the person creating or using an account, authorized organization members, imported files and documents, normal browser and application operation, Stripe for billing, Clerk for identity, Plaid and financial institutions for a customer-authorized connection, and another provider the customer chooses to connect. Collection occurs at sign-up, sign-in, plan enrollment, support contact, file upload, integration authorization, and use of the application.

Sensitive personal information

We use sensitive personal information only to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and comply with law for the requested bookkeeping service. We do not use or disclose it to profile a person for unrelated characteristics, advertise to the person, or train a general-purpose AI model. Because we limit use to these purposes, GlacialBooks does not offer a separate limit-sensitive-information control. A person may still submit a privacy request.
